Before the Lethe.

Painted in desperation.

I want to tell all the people that what we choose to do with land we've been taught belongs to us has growing impact. That we're losing existing ecosystems, and the distinct life forms they are made of, faster than we can preserve them, maintain or feed them. I want landowners to understand that though you are free in your place, you are not independent of it. And when we do pretend to not be affected by the place we live, we are encouraging that place not to sustain, hold, care
