Canada geese settle down for the night in a late fall snow.  Beech leaves cling to a sapling, rattling.  A full moon rises over a shimmer of ponds.  The pines catch her light.  
 
In the sanctuary of a sea cave, in a beam of light, a child plants a mangrove sapling.  A fox guardian sleeps.  Light enters through a gap in the stone.  Memories of ancient turtles shimmer in and out of view.
