I love to arrange seed structures from the woods and the garden into bouquets all winter long. I also love to see their architecture in stark contrast against a fresh robe of snow. Examining plant's seed structures closely is a wonderful way to understand the symmetry (or asymmetry) of the plant. You can peer at these structures and ask yourself questions like "How many regular parts do I see? Where are the seeds held? Do I think these seeds are dispersed when breezes blow, or the seed head tips over or breaks, or through the gut of birds or small mammals?"
